And those old buggers trying to tell us how rough things used to be. Walking through snow drifts in cardboard shoes etc. ... BS! We see how it really was. We need to be lecturing them about how easy they had it.

I think the reason us guys have been dethroned as "King of the House" is because of the necessity for many, perhaps most, families to have dual incomes to live comfortably today. Back in the post-war "good old days" a man with decent job could support his family comfortably. <br /><br />BTW, my comments above were meant in jest. The reality is that things were not necessarily better or worse, just very different.
