Today was interesting. The admiral surprised me and arrived home mid morning claiming she had the rest of this day off and that we should take our little girl to the lake.
It was a great day. I did a bit of fishing and the girls had drinks and snacks and lounged on the boat. And the boat was very clean as I had just cleaned it after last weeks fish-guts-fest. This pleased the admiral. Even the potti in the cuddy was working for the little girl.
Beautiful day. Sometimes things happen for a reason.

Sounds to me the one thing everyone is forgetting is where is the money for fuel?

We had our first outing with friends this past week. Six of us on board.

- We packed our cooler with drinks and ice.
- I packed a beach bag with 4 towels for 6 people.
- We applied sunscreen before departure, and I brought one bottle along.
- We had the PFDs for all of us, and deck shoes for all of us.
- Also brought the battery-operated pump for the tube.

Once we were on board, we stowed shoes in the bow storage. Towels and beach bag stayed at the rear bench seat. Pump and cooler stowed under the rear bench seat. Cameras and phones stowed in the glove box.

It worked really well. I could see how annoyed we'd be if the floor was full of cr*p, making moving around the boat a problem. But I thought of this thread several times during the afternoon.

If my sister had been the one on board? She would have brought enough STUFF to sink us!

I bring everything and tell them they only need a towel if they want one.
