Now that the engine is out, drill some test holes in the transom and stringers for water. I like 1/4" or larger holes because it's easier to fill than itty bitty holes. Also helps to dry out wet wood.
Everything good and the boat doesn't look neglected, go for it. If the boat looks like it's been sitting for some time, maybe the seller just wants to get rid of it and will go lower.
