I'm going to guess that the truck was a rental. Ford drivers are usually much smarter than that. Also, he was probably trying to read the writing on the the boat on the other side of the dock and did not want to draw attention to himself. :redface:

I think the thing that makes that pic classic is how the two guys are just going about their business, undoing transom straps, etc., just another day at the boat launch...

Looks to me like they are securing lines to the trailer to pull both units up the ramp.
