How fast?

Just wondering...I have a 1972 15' Terry bass stick steer (it's a crappie design) with a 50 hp johnson and clocked it at about 30mph with 240 lbs of warm body weight...is this about what it should do at WOT?

Only way to know if your optimizing speed and overall performance is to use a tach. Your motor has an RPM range stamped on the transom clamp(probably). You then prop your motor to reach max RPM at WOT.
