Caught this little sucker the other night. Also caught a flathead slightly smaller and about 20 tiny channel cats. Just started fishing for cats in Fox River and its been pretty fun.

Most of my fishing is for catfish. Livers are my preferred bait as it's easier and faster to have and keep frozen too.
Sometimes I tie the liver up in a piece of women's stocking as it tends to come apart on a hook.

Usually drift dragging night crawlers with 5/8 oz rubber twist on weight 18" above wire leader nickel #4 hook and leave pole alone till snags or hooks up on bite with me setting hook usually late , get back when I clean to eat .
