Hooking up rectifier

I've gotten a new rectifier, a mallory, actually from here. It has 3 yellows and the red. The old had the wires color coded how do I know which wires go to which place in comparison to the old one?

Ignore the stripes on the old yellow wires. As long as there were three yellow on the old one, you are good to go.

Thanks that what I thought as long as the stator wires were goign into it becasue its turing the dc into ac to charge the battery

Actually, I think you meant to say it is turning AC into DC, but we know what you mean.
