i have a 200hp honda runs perfect just dies when throddling down to nuetral. starts right back up...... any ideas?
Not the TPS, though I suppose a bad TPS might possibly cause the issue too. The parts diagram simply calls it "diaphragm"? Here's a picture of it on a much smaller motor. I don't know if the 200 has this or not, but my old truck had one so maybe they do. The purpose is when you suddenly fully close the throttle, it actually holds the throttle open a little bit for a second or two, to prevent stalling. Is that a TPS? Throttle Position Sensor? Might make it easier to google it if he has the correct name for the part or system.
