Its been raining for 2 days here with more to come. . .

They're calling for big time flooding we're getting 2'' to 3" of rain today.

Sigh...... I'm listening to the National Weather Service's flood warning for Albany County and the surrounding areas on the radio as I read your post. At least we don't have to shovel it, yet. I miss my boat.

Do you have to shovel rain?

Clean the rain from the car and defrost the windows before you can leave?

Follow rain plow to get home?

Do they sell the rain plows next to the rain mobiles at the lot???

We just started getting it here in MA a couple of hours ago, both the heavy wind and rain. I'll take this over the other stuff though

You guys have no idea what real rain is... Many times we have rain for WEEKS at a time... it may slow down a bit to misting with what they call out here "sun breaks" but we get lots of rain from around October through June...
We actually have a rain forest up this way... Ho Rain Forest... Annual precipitation (rain) is around 141-165 inches a year...

Our mountains average over 75 feet of snow with a record 95 feet in 98-99 at Mt Baker... That's 1140 inches...

With all that rain, it is no wonder they call Seattle the Emerald City... (BTW, its for the moss)

After the heavy rain stopped and as the storm was leaving it pooped out 2" of snow.

2-3", that's it? We got 15" of rain in one storm this year.

And we got 20" in the last 2 weeks of November. THREE times I have had the tractor out to clear the driveway and we're just getting started!
