Holsclaw C-950 trailer

Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and am hoping someone will be able to help me figure out the year of Holsclaw C-950 trailer. My father in law from Oklahoma gave me his boat and trailer, and I am having trouble getting a title in Wyoming, since I can't verify the VIN or even the year. I have found some info on these trailers, but nothing that tells me what year or years Holsclaw made the C-950 model. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated!

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Call yer dad in law, 'n ask him for a copy of his old registration,...

That, a bill of sale, 'n the fee oughta get ya a new registration in yer state,....

Hi Bondo, I appreciate the welcome and the reply! Unfortunately things are a little more complicated between Oklahoma and Wyoming. In Oklahoma, where this originated, small trailers like this do not get titled or even registered. No license plates, nothing. In Wyoming, a title is required and they are to be registered and plated to be on the road. I did provide my notarized bill of sale to Wyoming, but since it does not contain a year or VIN, they won't issue a title, which is why I am going the state issued VIN route. Just have to figure out what year Holsclaw made the C-950 model, and I'll be in the clear!

I did a quick google and the C series was in the 1970-76 era. If the boat is in that range, date it the same.

They went out of biz in the '80's and Fiberglassics only has 1950's literature.

Hi Jim, thanks for your reply. Any chance you could send me a link or 2 from where you found that info? I searched high and low and I couldn't find anything even as definitive as 70-76. If I can give the state sinething that shows that, I think they'll be willing to go with the year of the boat, since it's a 72.

I just googled "holsclaw c-950" and read thru the links. They were all replies to questions where the poster noted the year.
