High temperature epoxy?

Looking for a high temperature epoxy / repair compound--putty or pourable does not matter--to fill, drill and retap a threaded hole in an aluminum powerhead. Only need a little quantity.

I know there's J B Weld "High Heat." What else do you recommend that is readily available (as in, can pick up at say Lowe's or an auto parts store) and not crazy expensive?

I had a 1957 rude 18hp that was held together with JB-Weld. I couldnt get parts for it and had to repair alot of the brass in it. Also a couple bolts in the head. Even kept in my tackle box....lol
So I trust the stuff quite abit

Many moons ago, I used a product called Marine Tex to repair a crack in a cylinderhead of a 1957 Evinrude, my very first outboard. Motor ran fine for many years afterwards.

I once filled a manifold heat riser hole with JB. Still there when I sold it 125,000 miles later. If your auto parts store doesn't have it, find a new store that doesn't suck ...

Wound up just drilling and tapping to a bigger bolt size, so no need for the epoxy, thanks all.
