was at it for quite a while (since early 70's).. sold out an gave it all up 'bout 10 yrs ago but still like ta help when i THINK i can!..... jus ask and if i think i have an answer i'll be glad ta share..........

'ole Faz is very knowledgeable on tha V6 also......
So what makes stators go bad mine looks like it’s brand new

The coils / windings on a stator are made with copper wire.---Not just any wire.----It is " magnet wire " and has a thin coating on it.----Heat / vibration sometimes allows windings to move and start touching.----That reduces the performance of the windings.----Not easy for some folks to understand how these things work.

its "manufactured" by machines and humans in large numbers.....
Hello again I have a question on what battery to use for my motor. I have read comments on not using a deep cell cause it will fry your electrical system.

not for me ta say.. tha optima was jus gettin' popular when i quite this hobby.. i always used tha interstate brand.. never a problem. but times have changed.

i will add though, if i had any kinda "blink" with electrical that COULD be battery connected it got changed.............
