Hey everyone, nice to meet you in advance. I had a guy drop off this blue beauty yesterday for free. Probably is I'm not confident in the guy knowing exactly what model, year this thing is. He says it's a 1979 SeaRunner. I want to do a complete rehab on here bit have some question once we figure out her exact specs. Thanks in advance.

Hi there 😊
I'm not overly familiar with boats of that vintage bit is there any HIN numbers stamped in the hull anywhere or tags affixed?
On my 88 the numbers are stamped starboard side of the stern on the outside.
Maybe Search the internet for pictures of what he said it is and go from there but I'm sure someone else will be able to give you more possible directions.

you realize that free boats are the most expensive. especially free boats that have had items stripped from them, like the carburetor, etc.

you will need a signed title, registration and bill of sale prior to going to the DMV to get this floating black-hole of cash registered in your name.

No paperwork, but I did go to dmv with Bill of sale.and it's current on reg. Also it came with brand new carb. I don't plan on using the motor in any way though. Going brand new motor all the way out. I have tons of restoration questions once I found out what she is from DMV paperwork. I though someone would know possibly.
