When you look up your serial number for parts on a website, try adding a 0 in front of the 6. ( 06011796 )
Your engine model number is 1050530 which makes this engine year a 1980 MERCURY 50 EH

The best I could find is the one of the original part number was 5454A25 but has now Superseded to 398-832075A20 Item number 8, http://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassembly/7628/275/30

iboats carries the Sierra brand Stator - 18-5874 - Sierra

Also you could try searching online "CDI Electronics" as they're another aftermarket company. One of the two part numbers below should work on your engine but double check which one on their website if you desire,
174-8778K 1OEM Match 174-8778K 1 - Stator - 9 AMP, Not for use with Bolted Magnet Flywheel (more info) About CDI Electronics
174-5454K 1OEM Match 174-5454K 1 - Stator 9 AMP - Not for use with Glued Magnets (more info) About CDI Electronics
