I am not there to see anything.-----Many marinas use wooden blocks ( 12 "x12 " x 12" ) or bigger to set the boat on.------They charge you a fee for their efforts !!-----Or maybe the fee is B= bottom washing.-----Even boats need a clean bottom !

I found out. Haul out, washing bottom, blocking and launching. Thanks for the helpful replies. Well, only one person actually had one. Thanks Racerone.

Did the marina or Racer give you the answer? Racer had a question, not a definitive answer.
Haul out / blocking / winterizing / launching ????

Congrats and welcome to the open wallet club..Lol Thats how most marinas treat you. There is not much a marina does not charge for. Most marinas charge for an outside canvas guy that comes and do work on your boat that you arranged even though the marina does not have any canvas servicing. Same goes for any outside guy that comes in to work on your boat. The marinas want it all.Post a pic of boat and ask anything that is on your mind.Suggestion, after they wrap your boat go online and get a zippered door and a roll of shrinkwrap tape.Very easy to put an access door so you can check for any moisture buildup under the wrap which can make for a real crappy spring opening.Best of luck in the off season and dont be a stranger here,it is predominately much less sarcastic than what you experienced.Charlie

How deep is that?
If you can't measure it in fathoms, do you measure it in links, rods, chains, or furlongs?

We measure speed in furlongs per fortnight

While we can be a sarcastic group of folks the collective depth of knowledge is immeasurable
