1st Post, just bought a 1981 16' Seaswirl with 120hp omc and cant figure out how to pull the back to back seats out. I have had boats most of my life, and they all lift up and pull out into a lounge but these seem to be locked tight. Passenger side on the seat facing rear, has a support peg and when it is turned on a hinge has a gear like piece of steel that meshes on the hardware attached to the (what appears to be) a sliding mechanism kind of like a file cabinet only flat that i think the seats slide on. It doesn't matter what i push or pull they dont release the seat. drivers side doesn't have one but it may have been broken off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
