Help! Where does this hose terminate? 40 HP Yamaha

1987 40 HP Yamaha has a hose that attaches in the lower unit near the water pump. It's about 3/16" in diameter and is about 8-10 inches long.Where does it connect on the other end?

That's what i thought, there is some tubing that is not connected near motor. I'm gonna relace it as it is cracked, and connect it up tomorrow.
