help w/motor

i have a volvo penta aq125a. need to find out what yr. it is and liters it may be. i have other issues but thats the 1st thing. she runs grate other than over heating which maybe the impeler but 1st thing 1st. ty 4 any help.

The AQ125A is a 2.1 ltr motor and was used in the early to mid eighties.

My first question would be WHY do you need that information? If it's for looking up aftermarket parts, you need to get the OEM part number for your model engine first. Then when you look up the cheap aftermarket stuff you can then make sure you are getting the right one by part number. Here is the perfect place to find the OEM numbers.

Type in AQ125 in the Engine type box and hit search.

ty u sir. im new to this type of motor, im useto o/b. im trying to look at it like a car motor. i will try the links u recommened.
