Hello, I just bought a used Starcraft boat but I could not find the information about it. The ID plate could not tell much. It is 14.9' long and 5' wide. Please look at the picture and see if you could tell the year and model.

I'm thinking 1965/1966 Starcraft Jet Star. Looks the same as other photos online. 1165 looks like a production date code to me.

It's a Starcraft Jetstar that is missing the windshield. The engine is a Johnson circa 1987 +-. The motor model number will verify the exact year. What else do you need to know?

BTW, sitting outside full of snow it may not be worth much.

In Ontario, it could be registered with just a bill of sale.
same for Michigan. I have heard comments like above more than a few times and wonder what the deal is. I have only had one issue trying to get a boat in my name and it was due to a very old bank lean on the boat. We have found a legal way around our unique situation and working on it now.

I said plus or minus. 87 was the first catalog I found in my stash. Didn't look further.

Motor is 1994 40 hp with power tilt. Compression is top (120 psi) and bottom (130 psi). I am not sure if anything wrong with the top cylinder. I just want to take the head off and inspect it.

Thank, I got all the information. The ID plate does not say what the maximum HP engine and capacity of it. Just guess 4 seats for 4 people.
