help spindle on 2005 ezloader trailer

hi, im in need of a serious answer. my 2005 ez loader trailer carries a 2005 skeeter sx190. the driverside hub has been taking lots of grease. i figured it needed a new seal, i bought a complete rebuild kit for it. when i took it apart this mornin the seal looked good and i noticed 2 grooves cut in the back of the spindle where the seal rides on it. any info on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.thx

A picture of the spindle would help out with suggestions to address the problem you're having.

I understand there are thin stainless steel spindle sleeves that can remedy grooves or imperfections in spindles. Northern Tool or Tractor Supply may have them, but hopefully some of the folks on here with direct specific experience can lead you to them. Good Luck!

thx guys, i got pics but i cant i dont know how to get them off my phone. it is a sleeve, i got it off but i dont know where to get one. my local bearing store looked at it and said he had never seen nothing like it. im gonna go look at the spindle sleeve posts. i didnt know it was a sleeve till after i posted the first time. i ll be thankful if thats all it takes to fix it if i can find one. thx

i think that will work not what i was looking for but they will work. i was thinkin i could find the replacement sleeve but one that will fit over mine will do i guess.

Super, not to worry just yet. We experience this very frequently on my job with very large electric wash down motors. Yes it is caused by the seal wearing on the shaft. With wash down electric motors we need to keep the water out same as with and axle.

What we do when we reseal these motors is to seat the seal just a bit deeper into the end bell or in your case a bit deeper into the hub. The seal will then make contact on a nice clean new surface. It works! Some of these motors have well over 8000 hrs on them.
