Ok heres the scoop, I picked up 2 inline 6's last year with the intention of making one good one, turned out both blocks and cranks were shot. I've got a line on another that has good compression but lower unit is shot. Is there anyway I can tel if this powerhead will work with my parts. New motor serial# 2158658 a 1967 110, #1 old 2942872 year? 135hp complete -block and crank, #2 old 3425854 year ? 115hp (I think) complete -block, crank and carbs. I have one person who says the new will fit and another who says I need serial #'s 2900000 - 3600000 who's right and anyway if this won't work that I can determin it myself in the future ?
