hi all im new to the forum i recently picked up my self a 1977 johnson seahorse 4hp hoping to use it on the back of a small boat for inshore use ! but i have a problem the engine fires up ok but when i open it to full throttle it just runs very lumpy at seems to belly down ! almost likes its overfueling ! i had ir running on a 50:1 mix as ive been told ! ive stripped and cleaned the carb ! no difference ! the only thing ive noticed was the gaskets on the reed valve housing were a bit poo ! not leaking air in but looked like they were breaking up inside the case ! my biggest question is does anywhere know where i can get parts from in the uk ? cheers all look forward to replys
