Help identifying Elgin Outboard

Hello all from San Antonio Texas! I have received an outboard motor that I quickly discovered is an Elgin. However, I have searched the few numbers that are legible on the casing and can't find any information on this motor. Can someone please point me in the right direction or give me some information on it? I'd really like to restore it. As you can see in the pics, there are two numbers, one is 22010 and the other is 611-3580. Can anyone help me date this or tell me where to get parts?

There should be (was originally) a tag on the inside of the tiller arm with the model number. The party number will start with 571. On some the model number was on the decal on the front of the tank. It's probably either a 5.5 or 7.5 hp as those are the most common twins. Does it have a neutral clutch?

Your motor is a 1947 5.5hp, model number 571.58611, made by West Bend. The 611 in the serial number is the clue.

What parts do you need? Most stuff is going to be obsolete. The Antique Outboard Motor Club is going to be your best friend on this project. www.aomci.org

Thank you both so very much for your help. I will be starting to work on the motor this weekend. I would really like to restore it and get it looking like new again if possible.
