Help identify Model of 25 hp Evinrude

Help identify model or year of Evinrude 25 hp Welch Plug number 387636 RPH and serial number 259080-E07780. What model or year is this engine. There is no model number on the outboard. I was given the outboard and may restore it if the compression is good. Pictures are attached I would appreciate it if anyone can help me find the year or model. Also, any information on deciphering the numbers would be great.

Looks like a 1969 model year. Model number would be 25903. Model name, Sportster. The welch plug number states that it is a Replacement Power Head.

Solid motors, derived from the venerable 18hp models. Most consumables are still readily available (points, condensers, coils, carb kit, waterpump, seals, etc.)
