sounds like ya have a 1987 v6150 crossflow the powerhead gasket is not bad to change once you have done it a couple of times manual is amust
you can pull powerhead with all electronic on it it can be done in acouple of hours ,but ya need more info to make sure its the gasket and not something easier ,if it is a saltwater motor that has not been tore down it will be rough bolt wize get some more info pictures and read manual and yall can pull it off .
may break a powerhead bolt if not carefull .if you do replace gasket buy new powewrhead bolt kit trust me on this one
