head and intake gaskets

Can I go to an auto parts store to get head and intake gaskets or do they have to be marine specific? Its a 1988 5.7l.

auto fine, good composite gaskets with stainless fire rings like Fel Pro etc are what most people use.

intake - auto fine

exhaust - you want marine, or at least a nice thick 1 pc header gasket - none of that metal bits n pieces stuff
