Has anyone done this yet?

Was sitting here daydreaming and came up the idea of taking the toons from a hobiecat and making a lounge chair boat. Thought it would be cool to put a solid deck on it, bolt on a lazy-boy recliner and rig it with a stick stear engine. What ya think?

I actually sold the toons to a hobie to a guy that did what your thinking, almost.
He added a plywood deck on top of some extruded aluminum cross beams that were about 2.5" square.
Hung a 9.9 on the back.

With two guys, fuel and fishing tackle and lawnchairs, they had maybe 3 inches of freeboard.

Hehe, I was thinking of just a one man deal for the lake or up a creak, sounds like it might me an interesting project.
