Hard Throttle Stall

Hi, I have 95 4.3 Alpha one. I engage forward gear and then accerate hard, engine stalls. I can save it, if I pull back a bit on throttle. I can throttle up steady with no problems. Any ideas why it cuts out?

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,..... My guess is, the carb needs a rebuild, as the accelerator pump, ain't pumpin' gas into it,...

Is changing acceleration pump a strait forward fix ordoes it require a specialist? I see I can buy acceleration pump kit

Ayuh,..... Generally speakin', it apart of the carb rebuild process,....
