Does anybody know if C.E Smith guide ons will be compatible with my roadrunner trailer? The issue I see is the steps that are welded on the back of my fenders. Sorry I don't have a better picture but It doesn't look like to me that I would be able to mount them on the frame. I will try to get a better picture tomorrow when I get home.

These are what I'm looking to install.

Academy - C.E. Smith Company Roller-Style Boat Guide-Ons 2-Pack

Here is the boat

Generally speaking, that type guide-on normally clamps to a box tube section of the trailer's frame.

More than likely you will have to thru-bolt into the platforms. :(

Thats what I was suspecting. I am out of town and need to take a better look but I was hoping to avoid doing that. I love this trailer, but knew there was going to be a flaw :) Its built rock solid though so really can't complain.

THe mount to the crossmember.

If you need a little more height, place a 2x4 between the crossmember and the bracket.

I have them and they work will.

Cabelas or Shorelandr dealer.
