I wouldn't want to ping them with a 22 and just wing it. It crawls back into the den and dies. Nice smell for your new tenants. Don't mess around ping them with an RPG, might seal the tunnel too. Seriously being dark dwellers we have gotten rid of Racoons and Skunks by putting strobe lights down the holes and under the cottages here then turn them on at night. This has worked out here every time.

My dog just looks at them ... same with rabbits and deer ... now the skunk last night was a different story ... UGH! And she will chase squirrels. Go figure ... she isn't very bright ...

Mine isn't to bright either, but good girl all the same

Was setup this AM and saw nothing. Cut the gas later and kept a watch but never seen anything either. It takes me about 3 hours to cut it and I'll be in an area some 200 yards away and stop to look and nothing. Might put some fresh mulch out to see if its disturbed. I have a strong live animal trap and could set it up

Way back when I had a dog I let her out the back patio door one night and she jumped right on a skunk. The skunk sprayed her, the brand new house kitchen, 5 days new, and me. My wife got her share when she picked up the dog to take it outside. It ran through the entire house rubbing everywhere she could from it's eyes. I bought all the skunk remover in the city from the Vets. My BIL was a chemist for P&G at the time. The only thing that took the smell off her and me was Crest Toothpaste he recommended. Slathered her in it, let it dry and brushed it off. Nothing else worked.

I saw a doccumentary about the making of Caddy Shack a few weeks ago, a great cult classic now, terrible reviews when it came out. I didn't realize that Kenny Loggins wrote the song for the movie. I thought that the Ghost Buster guy (forget his name) picked it after it was written.

Nope, that was Ray Parker Jr that sang the theme for Ghostbusters.

they added the gopher theme to Caddy Shack to tie the movie together after shooting. the whole cast was drunk/stoned, etc. during the filming

maybe they were on to something......

I misspoke. When I mean The Ghostbuster guy, one of the Ghostbusters directed Caddyshack. I still can't remember his name. Canadian guy from SCTV.
