I just replaced my bearings in my boat trailer . Put tires back on and one is wobbly . What would cause this?

Did you make sure and match the old bearings that were in it to the new bearings you purchased? Did you tighten the spindle nut up correctly with all the washers and such that came out of it? Did you inspect the bearing races to make sure they are not damaged?

Could be a lot of things. Jack up that side and see how much play you have. In any event I’d pull the bearings, inspect them and the race, make sure you got the correct bearings. Repack them and install them correctly. If it wasn’t wobbling before it’s probably something you did when installin* the new bearings.

What all happened just before you decided to get new bearings? Was there a failure of some kind?
