got a pic., need some help

I've got a 2000 50hp Mercury. It seems that it isn't getting any fire, could be the ignition. went out all at once. anyhow i noticed these two wires disconnected for some reason. Is that the problem???

Looks like the same wires in my 2005 40 efi. The tan one isnt plugged into anything, but the brown with white strip is.

Your question lacks details but first make sure the "engine kill" switch is not on.
