Re: Good Boat names

One day off last year I woke up rested & happy and turned to the wife, I said "I think I would like to get a Harley." She thought for a few moments, then replied "why not get something we can all enjoy" referring to our 2 daughters. "I thought you always wanted another boat." I thought right then, You are darned right I want a boat.
It isn't christened or lettered yet, but it's going to be "Her Idea".

I am so into this boat's care and use that I spend most of my spare time either improving it, or running it. I originally liked the name "My Missed Stress" but the spouse nixed that one.

I have three little boys, I thought Nauti Buoys was a good name for my boat.

I did "lil' guppy" since I just have a base Bayliner 175, can't get smaller or cheaper so figure it fit.

A good name for your boat is "Damfino" Like in what are you going to name your boat? Damned if I know

Boat name: "Isda Plugin" in eye-catching font on the transom.

Re: Good Boat names

Ive always named my boats "Your Mom"
Its universally appliccable:
"Hey lets go party on Your Mom"
"I rode Your Mom all day"
Even if you're nowhere nearly as perverse as I, you can see the potential in this....

My wife's grampa gave us his really old runabout, which was in well, not the best condition. It's name was "the getaway" but we lovingly refer to it as "The Ghetto Way" :D Definitely more appropriate.

Re: Good Boat names

We recently purchased our first boat. We are Irish and since my 5 year old little girl is so taken with the boat we named it...

Re: Good Boat names

I just bought my second boat, and I was thinking of "all in" with poker chips on each side of the name.

Re: Good Boat names

My wife wanted me to name the boat after her, and call it "Crazy B!tch"

we settled on "The Bi-Polar Express"......bi-polar as in the medical condition, not boat trip planning

Re: Good Boat names

Years ago we left the slip for some fishing and cocktails in my 24' SeaRay Sorrento, boat was unnamed at the time. When we got back to the slip and everybody wanted to see our catch we showed them a cooler full of empties and a full bucket of bait.My buddy exclaimed, "well we had Good Intentions" From then on we always left with "Good Intentions".When we moved up to a larger 28' Cruiser Elegante about 6 years ago the name "Good Intentions II" was a natural.
