Well, was a pleasant trip up into the buckeye state and to see my ol buddy again.
First off let me say that it takes some doings to impress the wife but she really liked what she saw and I did also.

Jeff and his people have done good so far and it will only get better from here.

They are in the process of getting the website built and I appreciate the opportunity to run it for Jeff.

Now with that said, I got some pictures and will now show them here.
They are a little bigger than I would normally use, but wanted you to see them this way.

With all the rain and stuff people have had at different places around our country, I would like to show a couple of shots of the water around here.

They are pictures of a dirt round track, The Portsmouth Raceway Park.
I will now take the pictures down and leave the link's for them up. That way it will save on banwidth.
http://img106.exs.cx/img106/6290/race12un.jpg
Notice the bleachers. Look at the red thing there in the middle, that is one of the canopy things you park under.

Here is another one.
http://img106.exs.cx/img106/393/race20kl.jpg
Water right at the top of the bleachers.

Ok, now on to the grand opening.
Ok this first shot is of the outside of the building that is located in a pretty good size mall there, READ; Lots of traffic.
http://img106.exs.cx/img106/5985/store13zd.jpg

This next shot is of inside the store.
http://img106.exs.cx/img106/3601/store21lg.jpg

Now here is a shot of some of the beds they have.
http://img17.exs.cx/img17/971/storel6tz.jpg
Hmmmmmmm, looks like someone might be interested.

Next is a couple shots of some of the woodworking items thay have.
http://img106.exs.cx/img106/9690/woodwork27zf.jpg
http://img106.exs.cx/img106/7296/woodwork10je.jpg

Some nice chairs and a fire ring that was neat. The chairs are big enough for even me to sit in.

http://img106.exs.cx/img106/1766/restingplace8ea.jpg
The ones on the left are a slider type chair that will slide back and forth.

Now on to the next post where I also will just have links up.

Here are a few shots of the horse collar items thay have.
http://img106.exs.cx/img106/377/clock11wd.jpg

http://img106.exs.cx/img106/3765/clock23zq.jpg

And this one is a horse collar mirror.
http://img106.exs.cx/img106/571/mirror8kd.jpg

Now I guess everyone is wondering, hey pretty neat, but where is gonfishn?
Well, he was there being gonfishn.
He had just got back from taking some Amish people home when we got there.
He had been on the radio for about 2 hours do the PR work.
But everytime I looked this is what I saw him doing.
theboss9oq.jpg
Just sitting there waiting on the next photo opp. J/K. He was busy all day.
Notice the 2 clocks over Jeff's shoulder? Them are neat, when they tone every hour, the faces of them swing apart to show the workings inside.

All in all, it looks good and I think it will do well.
Nice to see Jeff and his wife again along with the other people that are there.

Just wanted to say thanks to www.imageshack.us for hosting these picture for me.

Nope LF, that's because there is a Pet Smart store right next to Jeff's place. :D

OBJ. Coming out of the east, get on Rt.35 west and go till you come to the Bridge St. exit in Chillicothe and then get off and turn right.
Go thru about 6 red lights, well wait till they turn green :D , till you get to a Taco Bell.
Look for an Elder Beerman store also, will be on your left. It is called Layne's Plaza I think. Turn left into that plaza and you will see Mattress etc right beside the petsmart store.

You would really like that hutch.

Some nice goodies in the store!! I too, think that hutch is da bombe!
As for the track, I've contacted a bunch of my other redneck buddies, and we are on our way up with a fleet of swamp buggies and airboats. Who needs Naples' famous sippy-hole when you guys have a great track like that?! :)

Re: gonfishn's Grand Opening

Thanks for the pics there Spinner. Jeff does have a nice shop. Uh...what did you buy from him? Huh? Well did ya? J/K

Been to that track long time ago. It is just hard to imagine that the river is up like that. I grew up on it, I should know it does what it does.

The mrs and I are wanting to plan to go down, but with all the storm work and FREE FIRE WOOD, I just can't take a weekend off yet. I am going to have Jeff's shop make new cushions for my cabin on the boat. I just hope it doesn't have ducky prints on it!
