I found this Glassmaster boat in the back of a used car lot. I believe it to be a late 1980's Glassmaster Heritage 24ft. Been sitting for at least 4 years. I made an offer on it, the owner accepted my offer. However, it will be about two weeks before I can move it. In the meantime, I cannot access the Hull ID due to the boat being parked next to a building. Via the registration number on the side - it does have a clean title and no liens. Owner also states the title is clean. What I am trying to do is find information on the boat itself, model, years produced, etc. It has a 454 w/carb Mercruiser for power with an Alpha outdrive. pretty rough shape interior, fiberglass is generally in good shape, no damage. I searched via google and only found one 1985 Heritage 24ft for sale, photos were very informative, but since the Glassmaster website no longer exists. I am hoping for any additional info. BTW, I live 20 miles from the Glasssmaster plant in Lexington SC and have a 1966 Glassmaster runabout with a 50hp Chrysler outboard motor that my father bought new in 1966.

HIN number should be on the upper right hand corner of the transom . They are not on the side of the hull. Last two digits are the year it was built. More info can be extrapolated from those numbers as well.

Yep - I just can't access the hull where the ID would be - as the back of the boat is jammed next to a building.boat.jpg

Mirror or cell camera will work in those tight quarters. Which is not that tight seeing you have a swim platform you should be able to crawl up on that and look at the HIN with your own eyes.

true. you are right.. lol ..except I don't like snakes and wasps. I did see a wasp nest close by, and this weekend it will be down in the 60s so I can take a chance then as they don't move very fast when it's in the 50s and 60s here. Going to be an adventure just getting it out of this place.
