GKN ujoints external clip problem with installation

Smaller socket on one cup, larger socket on the yoke. You're trying to push the cup further into the yoke. Then hit with the hammer... You're arms will spread slightly, fit the clip. Remove all the tools and holding the yoke in the palm of your hand, gives it a decent hit just near the cup. Turn the yoke 90 degrees and do it again. Now do that twice more. That will 'settle' the cups and cross.

And where’s the step to tap the yoke to open it?
When I did this what you said above , hammering the cap with sockets in Fclamp the cup doesn’t move or clipping the clip between yoke and the cup seizeing the Ujoint...
I don’t know how to fix this situation... it looks like the Ujoint is pressed to much and pressing the Yoke inward...(?)
Any further pressing cap into the yoke results in pressing the yoke itself..(?)
I hope ive described it with sense

It does sound like a needle has dropped out of one of the cups. Push it all apart again and check it.

I think WE did it! Tapping the yoke from inside to outside, pushing the cups and most of the clips are fine to me.
Because I like details I painted it so looks like new again,
Do you know why when greasing th grease doesn’t come out from the 1 cap? I also pregrreased them before assembly.

It was my first ever job with universals, I thought it will be easier but this type unis were crazy...
