Gimbal help, 89 Reinel Cobra 5.7 sterndrive shift cable

We are in the process of replacing the shift cable and the Gimbal bolts are allen heads and they get tighter when we turn it. Can tell use if it's a right hand or left hand thread. Are they suppose to just come out is there a trick?

This is the not the king. Just the regular one!

The hinge pins you refer to are a standard thread.As you face the pin:
"righty tighty, lefty loosey"

Okay, we did that but they got tighter, can they be forced or any other tools????

Sounds like the threads are corroded.Soak it down good with PB-Blaster,
If you can turn them at all keep working them back and forth.
It may take some time and several times spraying them with PB but they should come out.
