getting rig of the carpet.

I have a 1985 smoker craft. the wood floor is still in good shape. the carpet is not.
looking for suggestions on what to replace it with. we mainly salmon fish in lake Mi.
so i would like to stay away from the carpet.

I am watching this post.
What I am looking at is https://www.seadek.com/ We have used this in the past on a different boat. The problem is the glue on the plywood, you have to clean, sand, clean, and seal the wood then apply this. But i love using this stuff.

Pull the carpet, sand or scrape it smooth, paint the deck with a 2 part paint with some grit mixed in. You’ll never look back.

the paint option seems cheaper.
