gen 2 or gen 1

Hello, I have a 1991 mercruiser 4.3 alpha 1 and need to know which gen I have.
My serial# 0D496768 says gen 1 but it has c-clips on trim and also trim mount is
about 4" from back of drive pointing to gen 2. Any thoughts ?

If there are 4 nuts and bolts on the side its a GEN II just 2 nuts on the side, a nut up front and 2 nuts below the cavitation plate is a alpha 1
