gel coat question

using a waxed gel-coat, can i just wipe it down with acetone or do i have to sand between coats?

You need to sand the entire surface.

Either don't use waxed gel coat, or put the next coat on before the first coat is tack free to save time and money, plus the hassle of sanding.

Um..no you dont need to sand between coats as long as you keep coating while its WET..not tacky..but wet. ( hard to do with a brush ).

Is this a spray application ? I dont understand why you would not gel All at once..
