Gear oil resovoir

Im thinking about adding a gear lube resovoir on my wellcraft elite with alpha 1! I just rebuilt the drive do to water intrustion and thought this would be a good idea! How many have done this and is it worth it? Thanks

Yes I think it is ! I put one on my last boat and ran it for about ten years.Liked the option of keeping an eye on things. Cheap ins.

Hi there, to the best of my knowledge no one makes an oil reservoir kit that would install like seen on an alpha Gen 2 drive.

The oil hose would have to run through the transom of the boat and mount up to the drive.

I believe there are only two kits available online, Merc part number 69622A7 and Alpha SEI Mercruiser Oil Tank Reservoir Kit | eBay
