How much oil does the gearbox/lower unit hold. I mistakenly added lift pump fluid to fill it. Want to have enough oil on hand as I want to drain and refill with the proper oil.
35oz of gear oil. Also make sure you inspect the washers under the fill and vent plugs. Replace if necessary to prevent water from getting into the lower gear case.
