I'm restoring an 80's runabout and did a new dash with backlit rocker switches, breakers, and new gauges. The original wiring had all of the backlighting in the dash daisy-chained together from gauge to gauge, and switch to switch. Is this still an acceptable way to wire it back, or do I need to consider doing bus bars to distribute the lighting power and ground to each component?
