Gas here in Mobile Alabama is right around $2.50 a gallon. The only problem is most stations are closed. If you can find a station that has power the line to it is usually about a mile long, sometimes in both directions. Police cars usually hang out around an open station to insure the peace - sometimes even that does not work!<br /><br />There is no telling how much it will cost tomorrow. The pipeline that supplies gas to this area is in Pascagoula - which was hit pretty hard. The govenor says that suppliers are going to truck gas down from the northern part of the state starting tomorrow. <br /><br />Regards to all,<br />Gold Bear

It doesn't help that it is Labor Day weekend, a notoriously busy time at the pump anyway. Could be part panic, part Labor Day prep. Who knows. I don't need gas for awhile, so I am not going to stress over it...
