When I removed the engine cover on my 75 HP merc I saw a lot of gas puddled in the lower engine bottom. I removed the cover to see where the gas smell and cause for the engine konking out after giving it trottle. When I sqweezed the fuel ball I could see gas pouring out from a small tube centered to the front of the carb. This happened only to the upper carb. the lower carb did not leak fuel when I sqweezed the fuel ball. Which carb is the problem? upper or lower and what may be the cause? I'm on a remote lake and no dealers to service my engine.
