What do you guys do when you have a large tank full of contaminated gas? My project has a 100 gallon tank which has quite a bit of gas in it... and the tank is definitely contaminated with water. I can't get it out with all of the gas in it. Any pointers?

I would check to see if you county has a hazardous waste recycling facility. You can also call your local government environmental people, especially since it is quite a large amount, and they could further direct you from there.

Re: Gas disposal from large tank

I had a bunch of old gas in my tank. I pumped it into cans and when I put 10 gallons or so of good gas in I throw a few gallons of the old in and burn it up.....so far I haven't noticed any difference in performance.

Like Bond-o said the water is heavier than gas and will be on the bottom of the tank.
