Gas cap stuck, Lowe 1620

New boat when cleaning gas open and pushed it to click, now I can’t get it open. HELP black box on the left.

how does that cap seat, screw on, clip on ??????

it snapped close, it is not a screw type

Found it by taking pictures of underside thought tab was a pull up. You just press the button and button stays and gas cap opens
