Garmin transducer mounting options

I just purchased a Garmin Echomap Ultra 2 126SV with the Livescope Plus LVS34 bundle and I'm trying to decide how to mount the transducer. I have a Skeeter SX190 with a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor. I do a lot of crappie fishing, but I bass fish also. My concern is that if I mount the transducer on my trolling motor shaft, it will be constantly changing the view when I am using spot lock, which I use a lot. Would I be better off with a transducer pole mount or a mounting system which has a pole mount and a place to mount the Garmin unit all in one? And which one works best? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
