Garmin Speed Transducer Installation

Hello,

I have a Garmin fish finder 160c that works good for depth I just bought a speed sensor for it since this model is capable of speed as well. The problem is there is only one plug on the back of the fish finder. Does anyone know if there is an adapter or if there is some sort of wiring harness I need to have a speed sensor and depth finder? Any help would be much appreciated.

I looked around on Garmin's website and was unable to find anything about the speed sensor. I can only suggest you contact them for advice.

If you bought model # 010-10106-00 transducer, it's a the combination speed/depth transducer which replaces the one you currently have.

The 16C0 only supports a speed sensor built into a transducer. It does not support a stand alone speed sensor.
