I replaced the transom in a 42' Baja 420ES... I replaced the transom and stringers in my boat.. After cutting the outdrive holes I noticed a rather large 1/8" gap up to 1/4" in one of the ply wood layers where the wood did not bond in that spot.. Looks as if somthing may have been between the boards preventing it from bonding flat. I appled screws into each layer as I laid em up.. I'm super disheartened... How do I correct this.. Vacuum bag and pull resin up through the entire gap?? What other options do I have?? I can see light from the port outdrive hole while looking in the stbd outdrive hole... PLEASE HELP!

The guys over in the hull repair section could probably help you out.
